NOTHING CHANGES IF NOTHING CHANgeS.

Towards the end of 2023 I decided to shake up my lifestyle to the extreme and start showing up for myself like never before.

That meant for 100 days I would plunge into ice water for 5 minutes per day (sometime breaking a layer of ice to get in during the winter!), spending a small fortune on daily supplements, working with health experts at the top of their field, adopting a completely new diet, eliminating caffeine, alcohol, sugar and some large food groups, prioritising sleep, significantly increasing body movement and more!

I know that some of you reading this are going to think it all sounds torturous.

It wasn’t. In fact, I’ve LOVED it.

Here’s what I learnt in the process-

  1. Your daily habits will be the number one factor that determine your success in life

  1. There are very few people that are willing to do what's required to meet big goals, so if you’re one of the few who are, you’re already more successful than most.

  1. Physical discipline creates mental discipline. Full body plunges into ice water, running 5k in the dark, getting up at 5.30am, spending money on expensive supplements that taste like shit….. All because you know that it’s all contributing to a better, more expansive version of yourself.

  1. You’ll learn who your biggest supporters are. For me they’ve been the ones who have iced with me when I was trying to build resilience and was finding it tough on my own. They were literally cheering me on when I felt like I had nothing left to give on the spin bike or in the gym. They were the ones who respected my ‘no’ when offering a drink or a meal that didn’t support my plan. They were the ones who were celebrating me and high fiving me when I met a new milestone.

  1. You may inspire others as you share the journey and start to radiate a completely new energy about yourself.

  1. It’s completely worth it! The physical and mental pay off after doing the uncomfortable things is exhilarating and I can see and feel within myself a strength that I’ve never felt before.

I started this journey not as a quick fix, but as a permanent life choice because my mental and physical health is my greatest priority and enables me to be a better Mama, business owner, mentor, sister, daughter and friend.

So as I continue to show up for myself and keep bushing my boundaries I in turn feel more inspired than ever to show up for others.

And there is so much more to come.

Watch this space.
